The evidence-led verdict

MSRLab has made both live portfolio lanes publicly observable while continuing to deepen the private research system behind them. Since the last release, several large investigations correctly ended in rejection, two broker-specific research lanes advanced, and native research products moved through new engineering gates. Public progress is being increased without publishing a replicable portfolio recipe.

Public verification without publishing the recipe

Both acknowledged live research lanes now link to their public MQL5 Signal records, adding a visible evidence trail while the underlying intellectual property stays private.

  • Darwinex retains its direct Darwinex Zero record and now also links to a public MQL5 Signal.
  • The Deriv small-capital live experiment now has its own public MQL5 Signal record instead of a pending-verification label.
  • Public performance is observational evidence. Past performance is not indicative of future results, and live results can deviate from historical tests.

Darwinex capacity and portfolio governance

MSRLab purchased Darwinex Zero's maximum 600k Booster tier while continuing to treat capacity, performance, and portfolio change as separate decisions.

  • The Booster expands potential allocation capacity; it does not itself create an edge or guarantee capital allocation.
  • Portfolio reconstruction and capacity work produced a newly qualified alternative under frozen native gates, but its composition and economics remain confidential.
  • Any replacement, transition, overlap removal, or scaling action remains controlled and human-authorized rather than automatic.

Free and paid EA research reached different states

The free-source program is finished; the commercial-product program remains active because it asks a different, portfolio-level due-diligence question.

  • All 171 executable free-EA candidates in the frozen corpus received a final disposition, with no new deployable edge at closure.
  • A separate engagement study found that popularity was not a useful alpha prior for EAs, indicators, or public Signals; it was more informative for mature operational utilities.
  • The commercial registry now contains 8,962 product identities, but no newly researched product is currently purchase-ready or authorized for portfolio admission.

Weltrade synthetic-market and range research

The broad synthetic transfer campaign closed negatively, while narrower broker-native and range-oriented work continues under explicit stopping rules.

  • A broad native transfer study ended with zero deployment candidates rather than being optimized until something looked attractive.
  • A later literal-transfer screen challenged 22,878 broker-native cells and retained only a small diagnostic shadow set; none received deployment authority.
  • The newest range-oriented intake reconciled 1,529 normalized configurations and is still in frozen development screening. Intake scale is not a profitability claim.

Native engine research preserved negative evidence

The Diversified Strategy Engine completed another substantial campaign and demonstrated that useful infrastructure can survive even when the economic family is rejected.

  • A generalized session-handoff study covered 88 expressions, 22 markets, and 69,447 causal trades; no expression passed development and every later block.
  • Broker-native execution also rejected a promising offline persistence family after realistic implementation removed the apparent payoff.
  • The reusable output is the causal session, cost, chronology, verification, and portfolio-admission layer—not a rescued strategy.

PBZ, prop research, and Context Matrix

Three native workstreams advanced operationally while remaining explicit about what their evidence does not yet establish.

  • PBZ completed an initial prospective lifecycle snapshot without duplicate-order or restart-integrity failures, but the observation window is too short for an economic conclusion.
  • The prop-funding engine produced a compact candidate that passed frozen historical challenge-path and packaging gates; prospective evidence and human approval remain mandatory.
  • Context Matrix entered product validation as a decision-support workstation for context, planning, risk checks, and journaling. Automated action remains disabled by default, and no public release is claimed.

Quant Mechanica was reopened only by new evidence

The earlier public-archive conclusion remains valid, but materially new disclosure justified one bounded continuation rather than an open-ended rescue search.

  • Two source-faithful native literature baselines were implemented and tested under a frozen broker campaign.
  • Both current forms were rejected without parameter search; neither entered a demo, portfolio, deployment pack, or capital lane.
  • The result strengthens the policy of establishing a simple incumbent first and requiring a challenger to win out of sample rather than assuming optimization adds value.
PUBLIC RESEARCH CONCLUSION

Progress is a decision,
not just a curve.

The important change is not that every investigation found an edge. It is that the lab can now show public live records, close large unproductive searches decisively, preserve the negative knowledge, and reuse increasingly mature research infrastructure for the next bounded question.

Next evidence gate

Keep the public Signal records under observation; continue blinded range and commercial-product evaluation; accumulate prospective PBZ and prop evidence; and move Context Matrix or any portfolio change forward only after its distinct validation and human-approval boundary is satisfied.
